Will you be at the Chicago International Coin Fair? (Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont) It's a four day show with four day's of auction activity by Heritage. April 10 thru 13, 2014. I missed seeing you at the F.U.N. but will be here in April.

Unfortunately there are so few women in numismatics that it won't be long before you "make it". Pretty woman (and a redhead to boot!) and knowledgeable in numismatics (not just a dealers spouse) you will be known very quickly.

 

Great recap Amanda! I'm sorry I didn't get over to your table during the show, or grab a drink with you at night - the show was a whirlwind for me too. I'm looking forward to having a glass of wine with you in San Jose, then we can talk about wine, WIN, and all the good-ol boys in our industry!

 

Like Cher, or Madonna, or Shakira.

If you'll be at FUN next January, I'll have to try to remember to stop by your table. Shouldn't be all that hard to find a young woman amongst the old men. And, BTW, very nice show report! It was also my first FUN, so I appreciated the randomness and fun slant!

 

San Jose should be much calmer -- we'll definitely have to have that drink, even if it's just a quickie pre-dinner warm up! We'll be there Thurs - Saturday! And I'll try to drag Shelley along too!!

Believe it or not, I don't have much of a personal collection! A few coins that have been given to me as presents over the years, and one and only one that I bought for myself (a DMPL dollar). I don't even want to think about thinking about beginning a collection or I wouldn't have a spare dollar to my name!!

It was a pleasure meeting you at the show Amanda (even if it was only for a brief moment). I did amble by your table later in the day but you and the folks were so busy I just didn't feel it was right to disturb you.

 

It's always right to disturb us! Just yell "I'm a CoinTalker -- make way!!!" and shove your way to the front.
