    I want to begin purchasing gold/silver coins/bars but can't go the min investment most companies deman $500-$5000. Where can I purchase items individually?

    Local coin shop. My dealer will sell me gold at melt - as much of it as I want....including jewelry. In fact, I've bought my wife some gold chains and such from them at melt. BIG savings over a jewelry store!
