    i still learning from you, thank you, is this coin a simple like any one? i see the plating is different no?

    There's no "plating" on a 1941 penny. It's been treated with a chemical, maybe buffed with a strong abrasive.

    Looks like a rough planchet.

    If it was a planchet problem, non of the damage would show on the devices, lettering, wheat, etc. as the pressure would have filled any planchet problem, so only PMD.
