    Are you talking about the little dot? Most of the cuds I have seen involve the edge.

    I think it is a die chip, but wait for the experts here to "chip" in.....sorry.

    I would say a plating issue. It does not have the appearance of a die chip.

    Looks like a plating bubble. Try pushing on it.

    i used a pen to push on it, but it's very hard like the letters of liberty!?

    I found a German 10 pfennig that had a large zit on it that I thought was a die chip, but pushing it with a pen knocked off a glue dot.
