I'm seeing sites that are selling the 2007 ASE ""UBC"" already... Is that legit??? They aren't saying pre-order or as soon as we get them in either...

I didn't even know they were out yet...

I've already bought mine off ebay graded by NGC MS69--I've done this for about 4 yeras and never had a problem.

I just took a monster box to ngc on thurs. for grading, should take about 2 weeks, most of the time if you pre-order a box or more you can get them the 1st week of Jan.

I've got lucky and won one at our coin club drawing last week. It seems one of our members purchased a roll at the FUN show. I was surprised to know they were available (to dealers) this early.

The new year's ASE is always released on Jan. 2nd to mint authorized dealers. These dealers already have orders from their buyers from the previous Nov. and Dec. So the day they get the coins, some of the buyers get the coins.

Are you a dealler or just want a lot of Slabbed ASEs???

In a typical box how many of what grades do you usally get?

    Like 495 MS-69s, and a few 70s

    Ohh, I dunno...

Maybe, they are a tad more rare than all the other grades and go for a buck or two more on Ebay or any other place on the planet...

    Maybe I'm missing something....
    Why not???
    I'm always willing to learn...

I'm sure 98.9 % of people on here know more than me about coins, so it shouldn't be too much of a feat.. :)

The reason I was asking is because the more 70s there are - the less they are worth. So, if you desire to have a 70 because you just want a coin in the highest grade possible - fine, more power to you. But if you want a coin in the 70 grade because of value - then you better hope there are very, very few of them.

    Makes sense I guess...

Well, I said I could be missing something..

So, How many (legit) 70s you think it would take to make them start comming down???

Yea, I need to get to my local coin store... I'm sure he's got'em now... The Maples too prolly...

I haven't been in there in a month or so... Hopefully, they have a few slabbed Morgans and ASEs that I don't have for decent prices...
