    This cool coin kinda reminded me of those sweet Rhodes coins, but it's from 1170-1180 AD!!

    => I loved the 3/4 facing portrait, plus the "winged figures" flanking ... I absolutely stole this coin at the auction ($80)

    => 30 mm 13.21 grams and even a century that I didn't have yet => cha-chinnngg!!
    I hope that you guys like it too ... cheers!!

    See if you could spot it. I see a bird (like a duck) raising his wing...

    edit: I see a hanging monkey with no tail also.

    Duck... check.
    Hmm, lots of potential monkeys. And snakes! Snakes everywhere! Call an exterminator.

    A few other things

    MoreAnimals.jpg
    Orange: little rubber duckie with its wing raised. Or maybe a long upcurved tail. Or maybe it's doing the headbanger thing with its wingtip. Or the Vulcan sign.

    Blue: mutant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

    Aqua: Headbanger raising hand, making the headbanger thingy. Or a Vulcan.

    [IMG] [IMG]

    Red: the field goal is GOOD! (or airport worker guiding plane to the gate)

    Purple: a curler in full follow through (turn the coin 90 degrees clockwise)
