    As a professional poker player and coin collector, those are super cool. Not liking the price tags though. If they were KEM cards, I might consider buying a deck. These remind me of the Piatnik playing cards that I used to make into framed displays.

    You may not know that playing cards were used as emergency currency in the "New France" portion of Canada, 1729 to 1757. Playing card money remained in common use for about 75 years. Some old Charlton catalogs illustrate typical notes. In 1748, "Ordonnances" or Treasury Notes were issued (in Quebec) to supplement the card money.     Nice , I like them . I have an old set of Samuel Hart Pharo cards from the 1870s without the #s in the corners , I'm pretty sure he started putting the Joker in the deck though I'm not 100% sure .
