That's good, sir. Memories are important to me, as well. I have a book of the stamps, that belonged to my wife's father. They're quite interesting, and I've enjoyed looking at them many times.
In general, the answer is "no". They are extremely common, and easily obtainable. There may be some lesser known varieties, but I don't know enough about the subject to say for sure.
