Please report this ebay item as being fraudulent

It sold again. This time for $1,375. I can,t believe ebay lets these people get away with this just for a few $ in thier pockets.It,s really sad.:computer:

This looks like another estate doctor fake. Not as obvious as the bust dollar but it looks wrong to me. I'd be willing to bet my life that that is a counterfeit.

 

Definitely a dud,as the soapy appearance of the field is a giveaway.If you see that,then that is a sign of being a dud.

It has poorly formed denticles, details etc. Definitely a cast counterfeit.

 

There seems to be a mix of fakes and real ones listed. Keeps the fraudulent auctions alive my guess.

Is the curvature missing from the date what tipped you off to this being a fraud? I am just starting out in collecting and was wondering what was the tip off on this coin?

There is an entire discussion about EstateDoctor and even his post threatening people on Ebay. He even post his alleged phone number.

I also reported the item as a fake to Ebay security

 

Well now it has been what? 2 days since the auction ended and Ebay sends me a note telling me they will look into it....
Well that didn't make me happy so I got on Ebay live chat....and told them (Joy) what I thought about it---and asked what I should do next time....and she gave me this link!

I tried to use that link, and it kept telling me that the lot # was ng.
So, I used the other, with the same stupid reply that you got.
And the person who shall remain nameless, so they won't sue the forum, still managed to sell the garbage that we reported, for big dollars!
And we are plotting against them? What a lot of bull, sell legit stuff and we couldn't complain.

 

Ok, I give up, which lots were real? The books?
