Here is a strange one. A big metal blob in the first column.

It could be from a die break, but I want to say that someone dropped some of a braising rod on it.

 

i have seen this before in same area not as large as yours

 

That's a common area for a die break, sometimes referred to as a "hornet's nest" die break.
