1968 D Penny with Possible error. Very weak "E" in E Pluribus Unum

    I came across this penny from a roll I received at a local bank. I've only attached a photo of the back because this is where areas appear weakly struck, though overall its well struck. The "E" is very weak in E PLURIBUS UNUM and the "ST" in STATES also appears weak in the same way. I figured I'd see if anyone here may have any ideas about if this coin is worth anything more than its metal content/face value. Though this penny has luster, it does not appear to have been cleaned. 1968D.jpg

    I don't think its an error, probably grease filled die.

    This is a very common area of weakness on Memorial Cents.
