Grumpy old URBS

Looking through a few coins, came across what appears to be an ancient imitation.....
Certainly looks unusual for a Trier coin and whilst the die engraver certainly had talent (see superb helmet crest) he also appears to have been having a bad day...I've seen coins of Constantine with this expression, but never an URBS bust.

I only have one VRBS example and I am a bit unsure how to explain his expression? ... ummm, perhaps it is the expression when he's spotted a hot wench emerging from the bathes? (whatever his expression is, it looks quite wide-eyed and upbeat)
