Morgan dollars population

i think something worth mentioning is the purchasing power of a dollar and that particular dollars composition. the morgans are silver, while the SACs and POTUS are base metals. also, a dollar back in 1880 bought alot. today, nothing. so when someone had a morgan in their pocket they had some dough to play with. i think as inflation and the removal of a precious metal progressed, that is why the american public fell out of love with dollar coins.

i personally only collect coins with precious metals. except for indian pennys with my little girl.
