1941s nickel . . . error or pmd

    At first I thought there was a cud on the reverse of this 1941s nickel @ about 6:30. However, I do not see the 'lack of detail' on the obverse . . . and . . . there appears to be a gaping hole immediately underneath the thickened metal that looks like a cud.     Yes, these pictures were posted about 6 months ago . . . however I have a new question . . . Do you think this nickel a '1941 large S variety' ? My reasons for thinking it is: * the tail of the S appears triangular
    * the bottom of the S appears to be below the window
    * there is not enough space for another S to fit directly below the given S

    Here a couple new pictures of the S.

    Opinions appreciated.

    Need better closer, clear, pictures on both.

    Cropped 2 of the pictures. If these are still not clear enough I'll have to try and shoot some more tonight.

    IMG_1308 and these are about the best pictures I can get. Hope they are sufficient … if not what am I missing ?
