    Box of Halves: skunk

Normally, I'm disappointed but I'm just glad to be searching. Even a skunk means that I was able to get some coins. A whole new perspective. :)

I work in retail and get to search (for dates) about 50 rolls of pennies a day also 70 to 80 rolls of dimes and quarters in plastic rolls for silver and another 20+ rolls of nickels. I can't really search them just pull wheats and obvious stuff. I found 7 wheats 1947 the oldest, 1943 P silver nickel, 1952 Dime, and a no date Buffalo Nickel today.

I got a bag of Ike's yesterday. I have made one pass through the bag so far.
    1900 O/CC Morgan
    1921 Morgan
    1922 S Peace Dollar
    1926S Peace Dollar
    1973S 40% Silver business strike
    1972 T-II x 3
    1974S Proof
    1976S Proof
5 of various dates that are the best die clashes I have ever found.
I have been through the 72s and the 74Ds and no Peg Legs. Will work through the rest over the weekend.

    $40 rolled nickels - 15 BWR, 5 CWR - Skunked for silver.

    1936-D (first buff of 2014), 1941-D, 1954-D, 1958-D, 1959-D

and a few foreign coins - 1978 Canada, 2005 Bahamas, 2007 Trinidad and Tobago quarter.

I noticed when I got home that one of the CWR was noticeably shorter than the others - by about 5 nickels when I laid it next to one of the BWR. Sure enough, the old soul who wrapped them had included 3 dimes at the end of the roll to even it out to $2.00. :)
