Here is the reverse of a 1953 Wheat penny that I found in a roll this past weekend. Im curious if anyone else has found something like this and/or knows what it is?

    Welcome to the forum Bob!

It would help if you would say what you think you're seeing, but if it's the blob on the left wheat stalk, it looks like a die chip.

    Bob,

It's a die chip. Very common on the wheat ears.

  6. Die chip as the others have posted.
