Today at the coin shop I bought a BU 40% silver bicentennial-S proof quarter, 1950-D and P nickels, a 1938-D buffalo nickel, and 20 assorted wheat pennies that I haven't gone through yet.

I found the quarter in roll yesterday. This makes 2 of the last 3 boxes I've found silver in. Purchased the Morgan at a LCS on Thursday. This is my first Morgan silver dollar.

    IMG_0426.JPG IMG_0425.JPG I Bought this Saint
    recently with a few 1924,1927 $20 PCGS MS64 for a few friend. Under $1600 I think
They should be a safe buy. Any opinions otherwise. Actually bought at about 1525.

I think that was a good buy I wish they'd come down a little more I'd buy as many as I could if they ever got down to $1k a piece again but i don't think it'll ever happen their pretty coins and I don't think you can ever go wrong with them

Hey Bill I guess it would be a mixed blessing if Saints could be bought for $1000 again. I better get busy selling a few just in case. I didn't think we would see a price under $1600 for a 64 , however we have. I bet we see 1800 before we see $1000, maybe

I'd like em to take a quick dip for a year or 2,so I can pick up some reasonable and gold to go low too I doubt it'll happen i paid $2150 a year ago for my 1907 in 64 if I was to sell now I'd take about a $300 hit but I'm not selling and I would like to pick them up for the long haul

Back when you could buy $20 gold for $500 or less a piece I wanted to buy them but I had no money all I had was going to pay the bills and keep my business going and the last 10 years or so I really don't see many decent $20s at the local sales is been only the last 3 I've been able to buy coins online which really got me going again and they've been sky high was at a local sale a couple years ago with a bunch of gold coins and they were all common dates and average condition and everything brought full retail and beyond

Just one coin for the new year so far, but a nice one. NGC AU 55 trade dollar that is very "proofy" looking:
