What are robots?

A word to the wise: don't do or say anything on the internet that you wouldn't want the whole world to find out about. There is ultimately no privacy on the web.

Right, we have learned a lot about that recently. But in this particular case - the "robots" here - it is important to know, I think, that there is a difference between forum posts (public) and conversations (private). I can read the "conversation" messages that I send or receive - nobody else's. Similarly, a regular search engine robot cannot read them either ...

No, those are long spam posts that make no sense. Yes, they are a pain in the derrière, and we (mods/staff) are pretty busy catching them. If you come across one, report it. But those are not from search engines ...
