I haven't posted in months because I realized I didn't know what I was talking about. I studied and searched rolls and found some cool coins. Here is one I found today.
MD has flat shelf like doubling. If you notice the date has split serif and notching on the r and u of trust. You can also see faint separation lines on the 8 znd 7of the date. Notice the 8 is doubled with rounded doubling and so?it serf on the 9. No flat shelving anywhere on the coin. Also notice there is no doubling on the mint mark. You should some time and study the difference instead of a knee jerk reply
There is no notching present from what I can see. The part of the 9 is obviously flattened, and not raised to the same level as the original digit. If you want to send it to a die attributor go ahead, but they will most likely tell you the same thing that I did.
