How do I find out if my two headed coin is real and its value?

I have a two-headed nickel with two different years on each side. It feels and looks real. Its weight feels right. I am curious as to know if it is in fact real, then what is its worth?

welcome, and you can pretty much assume that it is a magician's coin, with the exception of one double headed Indian head cent that has been certified.

If you think about it, there is no physical way for the mint to produce a coin with two different year obverses. When the dies for the later of the two years went into service, the dies for the earlier date were no longer in use.
