I said I was going to stop following but I can't look away from a train wreck You know BU, offering proof isn't going to do anything. Wasted breath. I do have an empty chair if you wanna sit back and watch the trains
A 92-D close AM isn't as scarse as the 92 AM but it does bring over $1,000 on ebay depending on the quality. As mentioned by others, it doesn't look like a close AM from the picture but a close up of the FG would help. Close AM's have an FG further from the memorial than a wide AM.
I'll have to double check my searched rolls... I must not have understood what a close AM looks like. I bet I find a dozen or so...
Horse: "Boy, I'm thirsty...!" Rider: "There's some water right in that trough..." Horse: "Thanks, but no, I'll just stay thirsty..."
I appreciate the offer, Phil. But based on the content of this thread, close AM '92s are easy to find at face value. I think I'll save $499.99
Now will Tim come back when he finds out that all of the coins he has posted are WAM's and not CAM's. Assuming the dealers he goes to know how to tell the difference, which is a risk. Even with pics it didn't happen.
