Im pretty mad right now. I just woke up to find that my EBAY ACCOUNT has been suspended becuase i left NEG feed back for a guy that stiffed me for a coin i ordered. EBAY NEED TO REMOVE its head from its rare end. HOw in the world is stating a fact that I got wripped off by a seller on ebay. Make me the bad guy. I know this is off topic a bit but it was a coin I bought.

My story is,A few months ago I won a few items from a seller. Sent him a personal check and he never sent me the items. I left him NEG feedback. Ok o probelm I cancelled the check before he tried to cash it. Then i see another thing a 1909 vdb cent pcgs ms 64. But this time arond the seller is useing paypal to take payment. SO i figgre ok at least im protected on top of that i used my other account name so there shouldnt have been ny isseus seeing as that seller and i have issues on my old name. I pay and never get the coin. So i file a claim with paypal. and today i find that both my accounts are suspended for me leaveing neg feedback on a guy that took the money and ran. I loss money and my accounts for doing the right thing. Makes no sence. In fact another reason i bought this 1909 was to leave that guy NEG feed back if i didnt get my order. Well like i said i didnt. And ebay is tellign me that i am in the wrong. lol I dont know what ebay thinks there doing, but wheat ever it is . ITS wrong. edit to add.. i know you shouldnt pay by person checks and such unless you know the seller if safe. but his feedback at the time was good so i took the chance.
eBay has gone nuts! I hear stories like these all the time. We HAVE to do something! Sorry for all of the !'s but this is getting out of hand.
Did they change things? I thoought you had to have like 6 strikes or issues before they booted you. How do some of those REAL idiots stay on there then? I am confused.
Man. that crap scares the heck outta me... I don't know where I'd get coins if it weren't for ebay... I say, I get atleast 80% of my stuff from there... 10% from the mint. 5% from Coin Shops 5% from other....
they just dont care about the people that by from there.. thats really what it comes down to. i would love to see them sink I mean honestly is they went out. there would be another site to fill there spot in 2 secconds.Just remeber history has shown that if you mess things up enough times people drop kick you.

zane, that sucks. You bought from estatedoctor.... aka Savannah Scammer, aka Pam Donelly, aka pjd1966, and the list goes on. I know you were trying to help out others. Unfortunately it's against eBay rules to bid without intending to pay or to contact bidders that are not bidding on your item. This user has been doing this for years. She's been reported MANY times. When and if ebay does something, she just comes back with another id. Go to google and enter "savannah scammer".
I just left a NEG for a Ebay seller from Washington State. The coin was advertized as an AU 1928-S Peace Dollar. When I got it it was an XF. I emailed him. His rude response was the only reason I left an Neg. He then has the nerve to give me a Neg. I maybe be done with EBay too.
instances like this have kept me from buying anything on ebay. it is sad as i know there are lots of honest sellers out there. i can't understand why ebay would continually allow known thieves and pirates to reopen accounts under different names. then... you honest buyers get delisted!!!! guess i'll be sticking w/ the major auction houses for a while longer....sorry to hear of this happening to you . i hope you can get this resolved in your favor...steve
I have a couple of favorite sellers I use...I trust these guys and they have never let me down. Although they all have a wide variety of coins for sale, if I need somrthing else, they will recommend a seller. I have really gotten cautious of who i buy coins from on ebay, but this seems to work. For gifts and hole fillers I'll use Cooks Coins, but generally I've stopped gambling on ebay.
here's the funny part: I tried to report the lot as a bogus coin and they won't accept the report. They insist that the lot # is not valid! 170070339395 Nice Raw 1799 Bust Silver Dollar Coin Item number: The listed item is not genuine. Don't believe me, contact the ANA. This is the third time that this item has been listed.
what it boils down to EBAY SHMEEBAY! You know the old saying the bigger they are the harder they fall. Some day ebay will be out done. Just a matter of time.
I tied to report it also with two different links and got the same message,item# not valid. Makes sense I guess, the coin is not valid either!!
