I just called in to Littleton. My concern was I did not get an email confirmation. She said it is fairly quickly to get a confirmation. She said within two hours I should have an email confirmation. I asked if they will honor the $28.50 price. She said if it was posted on their website, then "yes!" I printed the ad before the price change. I don't have much to lose. If they honor, I'm good. If not, I cancel/return. I shall soon see.

I just checked and cannot even find them on their site now...I guess they are sold out. Glad I found that link yesterday, although I wish I had ordered more.

 

Go to your first post on the thread and click on the link. Look like it still works but shows $70 for the price. Ended up buying 15 total. Thanks for the heads up!

 

Ok..now it works. A few minutes ago when I clicked on the link the page wouldn't load. Not about to pay $70 though!!

I am glad I could be of help to everyone. I know Littleton's reputation of extremely high prices so I don't feel a bit bad about taking advantage of, what I assume, was a mistake.

Well Littleton Coin Company just called me. They said they will honor up to 5 coins at $28.50. The rest would be $70.00. I told them to make it 5 coins @ 28.50. My total order was for 16. Oh well 5 at $28.50 is nothing to sneeze at.

I think they saw that 'CaptainKirk' ordered 5, so they had to honor at least that many...

 

I wish CaptainKirk would of of ordered 16 then!

 

First off, Cheers to hllywood!!
Second, I just got off the phone with Littleton. They said they would honor my order. They said they had a "pricing issue last night." They have since corrected the issue. Further, they currently have an "inventory issue". The person asked if I could be patient, it will take an extra few days to get the coins to me as "they are in stock"!!
My initial feeling was this was there was no way they could honor these. Too many people tried to get in at the $28.50 price and there would be no way they could sell these at 100% or more below market. I have to say, if they truly ship these (as I was told), then Littleton should get some kudos for honoring this price as they advertised. I do feel somewhat bad that this was obviously taking advantage of a situation where they errored.

 

How many did you order if you don't mind me asking? As stated I ordered 16 and they said they would let me have 5 at the $28.50 price. TIA
