Recently I purchased a 2013 Maple from aydin_coins on ebay, and they sent me a fake that was almost perfect. For some reason I decided to try a sound test on it and it failed. The only other way to distinguish I was a fake was looking at the rim, and the color variation I will be posting this on the other parts of the forum to get the word out. Here is a video of the coin showing you the faults, and it also shows I I found it to be a fake. edited
You have a solid, informative video here. But you lost a lot of professionalism with the comment, edited Take out the preachy stuff, and you'll make a bigger impact. Also, why haven't you left a negative yet?
I Have, and to explain better edited. I have done some research,Political comments are not allowed on this forum/site. Please read rules. Thanks
I'm just going to ask my stupid question.... are the maple leaves also .999 fine? Are they also 1 troy oz? Also, when I click on the seller's eBay profile, there are only 2 very old negatives... both for items that never arrived. Nothing recent and nothing about fakes.
A ton of people have no idea what they are doing, and even i thought it was real, and ive been stacking for years now. And like the video says it is the finest fake ive ever seen.
Im not going to file it, because if I get my return accepted, and I send it back filed they are able to not refund my money
From first hand experience, I know the power top sellers have on eBay. Sometimes eBay will automatically remove negatives. If their system does not block a negative, a quick call will solve the problem.
