ther is this attractive woman who lives next door to me, she has been shoveling snow from my driveway during the winter since 2010, i don't own a car and my driveway is empty except for the snow and ice in the winter. she also mows my yard during the summer, i don't know why she does those things, i have never even spoken to her. there have been times when i have thought that maybe i should offer a few dollars, however, i figure she must like shoveling driveways and mowing lawns, why else would she do those things. i can hear her sometimes out in the driveway, shoveling snow an ice, and my cat and i just laugh, and think about all of the money that i am saving by not having to pay someone to shovel the driveway.

When I was a kid, we tipped the mailman. Then they did that strike thing and came out of it with a much better salary than both my parents combined had. That ended our tipping.

These days, which mail carrier gets the tip? There are several different folks working my route. Should I, if so inclined, leave multiple tips on different days and hope my tips go to different people, or should I just leave one tip and trust him/her to share it with the others who sometimes work the route?

Isn't it enough when the pretty girl mail person showed up in the rain last week at 6pm with a package I had been waiting for that I offered her a glass of good wine, or coffee, some cheese and a chance to dry off?

My regular guy drinks Scotch so a bottle a year isn't too bad. Oh Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
