I just purchased a complete Washington quarter set (32-98) which includes some beautiful 1982 and 1983 examples. I know there are rare in UNC condition due to the lack of mint sets for those years. I’d love to know grade input if possible. Thanks and enjoy!

The 83D is probably your best chance of getting a 65. I still think that the reverse holds it back. The real price bump happens at 66 to 67.
    The others 64 and lower.

Thanks! Any value added by the obverse die clash on the 82P?

Are you sure there isn't evidence of the clash on the reverse?

All very nice looking but I think 64 is the top grade.

Its a split die not a clash. And yes a small premium to the right buyer.

Here is a match to your obverse die clash.
I would imagine that the reverse has to be there also.

Those are excellent 82 and 83s. The best I have pulled from circulation is XF/
possibly low AU. And the other 50,000 were junk.

The 32 D big question mark? That D looks placed.the entire surface is white nothing around the other devices yet the D is dark.... the look of a D that wasn't there durring minting.

The set is very nice looking I just get nervous about blast white coins and gunk around certain devices. Over the years this is one that falls unfortunately in that category to fake.

The 32D was checked out carefully by the dealer I purchased from (who I trust). He found a die match with a pcgs graded example so I’m comfortable with it. I do appreciate the caution flag though.

I understand what Paddy is saying, and since it's a nice set I wouldn't have an issue with the integrity. 1 dealer who is selling is not a consensus of experts and I would rather have the opinions of people here (with no money incentive) who can physically match the exact placement of that D to a certain die pair.

As a variety collector over the years I have trained my eyes to seek out differences on the coin surfaces.
As a pose to known items,devices...lettering... then go full scan tying together any discrepancy.
I will be the first to admit I do not know anything about this series...compared to other series I collect.
That said I am more alert to things seen on a series I am not that well trained in.....as one needs to check ,research and recheck to satisfy ones self.
I agree With Michael that one opinion by a vested interest isnt enough to satisfy my question. For me personally....
However respect the op's reply , and choice in this matter....

I do know there are quite a few ddo's & ddr's in this series. Plus some special variety dates, and rpm's.
The quality of the set makes me believe that there are some finds to be found!
I would definitely go over each one on a variety web site,or reference to add a little more meat on the bone.
This looks like an well put together album with choice specimens.
