Her mom must have been too, because that is who taught her and her siblings to save their change, so every day, for two generations, every day, half of whatever was in the change purse or pocket went into a tin can. Somewhere in the 60s it became milk cans. The kind with handles. And the collection continued to grow.

Let us just say for a while there I was Coinstar's best customer. LoL

 

Sounds like the perfect mom to me.
