1983-P Huge Die Break-Lamination Error?

    Heres another one of my 1983-P Quarters for your thoughts and opinions to look at. Die break-Lamination All opinions greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I swear that looks like some kind of glue. :eek:

    Glue possible. No impression of other coin. But, with the coin allready being in error with die break (cud) I wonder. Thanks for your reply

    It may be glue. Or it may be an area etched by contact with corrosive substance. It's not an error.

    It looks like glue, but the cud on the left rim is so minor that is isn't really collectible, worth keeping, but not worth a large premium.

    looks like a peice of tape was once there
