    Just picked up a rather nice lead Queen Victoria 1846 2/6 (Halfcrown) lead forgery bit on the worn side but a nice liitle addition to my collection :D

    Steve,I have got a genuine 1845 1/2 Crown.Yes,mine is .925 fine silver.

    I like the real ones as well just that this is different and it is also circulated, would love to be able to find out who made it but doubt that I ever will.

    Since we are talking about contemporary forgeries, I also collect them. Here's one that is quite topical. It purports to be a silver 18 kreuzer minted for Prussian held Silesia. It is very convincing, but i'm quite sure that it is a fake.
