Happy Holidays, bank note collectors!

    Just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season with a little bank note Christmas card. This reprint of the White Mountain Bank $2 note is from the American Bank Note Paper Money Collection. I've also scanned the info sheet for more details.

    Hoping you all have a nice yuletide and get some fun toys under the tree! ;)

    Being that I live in NH I find that banknote quite fascinating and I wasn't aware such a thing existed. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas.

    My Audi S8 broke down in the White Mountains in Albany, NH on my way to Christmas in Maine. I think you may have jinxed me with these White Mountain obsoletes. At least the folks up there are nice as you could imagine.
    Now I need a new fuel pump...
    Very pretty notes though!

    A new note for a new year, then! Here's a nice $3 obsolete from the Bank of the State of Kansas, which seems appropriate for the Year of the Horse. This is off the SO13 souvenir card issued in 1980, but the original note was released in the early 1860s.
