Your coin has post-mint damage, likely from a coin rolling machine or something similar. Keep up the hunt!
in this case this is damage to the coin from where something smeared the 9 welcome to the forum Monica
If you look at the photo of the complete obverse, you can see where the trail of damage started to be visible in the word "TRUST" at the same distance from the rim, and a coin wrapper device is the most logicial.
I thought so, but a person like me keeps any weird coin just to look at it from time to time. I have a few but I just figured they were scratched off from going into multiple machines over time.
I just use the macro setting on my little Sanyo 3x optical zoom I make jewelery so I need 2 get good pic I wish I could get better ones then I do Just sayin And again Thanks everyone for the input
