Don't even know what y that is and I wouldn't know how to load the pics onto my phone I'm the most tech stupid person you ever met I don't have a computer or anythig else just a beat up old I phone until I got this I never even was on the Internet yup I live in the dark ages
3 best things about having the Internet on it auctionzip ha mobile and coin talk most of what I use it for
Shoot Bill, you're limiting your capabilities by not connecting with a computer. I don't buy that back wood stuff.......you're more tech savy than you say......
Actually I'm not I had to have my ex girlfriend call her ex husband in order to hook up the tv yea really it took me 6 months with this thing to figure out how to get on the Internet (and some help from another ex girlfriend) after 4 years I'm somewhat comfortable with an iPhone but that's about as far as I got as to photos I've always been awful any of the better pics of coins I got I had a friend take and send to me I'm pretty back woods really but if it's made of wood or mechanical I'm quite good the second it involves wires I'm lost
Ya know? Ethan Allan lived in the wilds of the Green Mountains yet he communicated in a most explicit, contemporary, literary way. As do you my friend........
It might not be pretty but I can communicate I'm not educated but I sure got a phd from the school of hard knocks pretty much self taught in everything I did finish high school (barely) tho was too busy working to bother going half the time
I'm entertaining anyway everyone says that I gotta be careful on here cause my mouth has no filters believe. Me if you met me you'd never think I was as serious of coin collector as I am
That 89 cc is a beauty morgandude what's the grade on it au? My collecting goal on the Morgan's is all the cc dates in unc tho I keep getting distracted by other pretty shiny Morgan's like the 3 I bought last nite but I'm going to have to settle for a high grade circulated or a details on the 89 cause it's just out of my league price wise the 79cc and 93 cc are doable if I focus on them and save my money but I'm just not going to spend 5 figures on a Morgan there's a few coins I will eventually but very few
The 89 cc just misses AU. It is XF 45, and I think that is quite accurate. I was going to try and get all the CC dates in MS, but the 89 cc is just too darn expensive. I have all 13 of the coins in the CC series, and all are MS except for the 89...just won't go there! Here is the 93cc. The 79cc is MS 62 and in a safe deposit box. This one is MS 61 :
Wasn't sure was a close call I almost said xf 45 is a beauty as is the 93 I'm about halfway there need 78,79,80,89,92 and 93 want to upgrade my 81 (ms 62 but a stunning toner want it for my toned Morgan's not my ccs) 85 ms 62 and 90 au-58 again great color want to get 64 or better on the more readily available ones only been collecting the Morgan's about a year and a half started as an alternitave when the early stuff I love so well just wasn't available and I needed a coin fix I hope to fill in most of the blanks in the next year or 2 but that depends on how much I spend on early stuff and how much I have to spend I get distracted by rainbow toned Morgans real easily too
With the 81 and 85, go GSA. You can find nice ones for $600-700, and they are holding up nicely in value.
Special proof and specimen proof are interchangeable. It has to do with the special planchet that is really MS, but proof like due to its preparation.
I was under the impression that "brilliant" meant un-toned / white in this context? Or does any coin that is uncirculated qualify, ie the "brilliant" in BU? Did I just always have that wrong? if so, I don't know how it got into my brain.
Yes, that is why I posted only my bright coins, and no toners....that is okay, it is Christmas season, and people can post any brilliant coin.
