Hello guys, I was wondering if you could help me learn more about this coin. It is a 1968 dime

    I see a normal 1968 dime...worth 10 cents.

Did you maybe think that your dime was one of those elusive 'no S' proof dimes from 1968 Peanutgriddle? Well, sadly for you, it is not. See those squared off rims? That's testimony to the fact that the coin is a business strike and not a proof coin.

Welcome to the forum and I hope ya stick around for a spell.........:)

so what iam guessing from your post is that the way to tell is if it has a squared off rim then its business strike

Sharp wire edged rims for the proofs.........

Shiny fields and cheeky devices (leave off the last mention)......
