THe forum has been little dull lately and i always enjoy the guess a grade topics so here is a random coin. Mercs are always hard to grade imo. i own a large amount and can still not figure it out i will tell you this is a mercury dime in an early to mid 2000's holder guess away !! and most of all enjoy i will release the answer in 3 days !!

Kind of hard to see the band, but I think they are not full.

She's a little spotty but her condition looks nice and strong to these weary old eyes. MS64FB.

I'd guess MS-64FB . From the pics it looks like it just made FB designation . I think the spotting will keep it from a 65 .

Going off the pics I had to go MS63FB. I see a more than a couple scratches and marks, the spotting makes the coin very hazy, and if they graded between "early to mid 2000's" they'll be a just a little bit tougher than they are now on mercs. Nice coin tho! Can't wait to see the answer. :D

I'm gonna go with MS63 because I like odd numbers ;) lol

But honestly I'm guessing those scratches bumped it down and I can't be certain on the band, so I'll leave that out.

Well I'll be! Shows how subjective coin grading can be. I was the lone ranger on this one going with MS-62.

No I acknowledge the FB, but took off for the spots, so it was 62 for me also. Of course it could be the spots are on the holder and not the coin. Old plastic can be funny that way. :)
