2014 is almost here, will the Kennedy Half shoot up in price?

    Any updates on a special Kennedy coin for next year? One of the few things im keeping my eyeballs on for 2014.

    I have not seen this in any mint blog or coin mag yet!!!!!!!
    2014 there my be a Reverse Proof Kennedy half or Dollar Com coin set.

    Whatever it is I just know I want one. Hoping for something really cool like a RP.

    If the US Mint did anything, I wish they would bring back the original design for 2014 and get rid of the “spaghetti hair” on the obverse and “stick figure” arrows on the reverse.

    More details are starting to come out.

    A gold coin is being considered, but I thought this was much more interesting, sounds definite:

    Just the fact that we're talking about them here and some have starting working on their sets indicates increased demand. Many years, sold only to collectors, have lower mintages than the 1970-d. If the mint makes a set this year and it's well received and/or the Kennedy Half is discontinued, we could see a surge in interest/prices.
