I don't see the dots extended or an extra thick bar in the L of E PLURIBUS. I think you just have a coin with some heavy die wear.
I agree with Simon about heavy deterioration. The letters of EPU on the wheat series were so close to the rim and so shallow that they often show extreme effects of metal flow from die wear. I've been searching some unc rolls of wheats from the 50s and I'm seen some that were even worse than this.
Those are definately tricky sometimes. The best way I have found to identify those Class 6 DDR's on the wheats is by the elongated dots, as non cents pointed out, and the thickness of the bottom of the U's.
