What is the weight? A silver crown weighs 28.2759g. If yours matches that weight it could be a post-mint gold plate job.

I can tell you the pictures on the front. On front there is a guy on a horse with a dragon below. On the back a picture of victoria. It is gold, cerated edges and 1887 is the date

I think you may be right about the gold plate job. I found a box in my safe also. It says "22ct GOLD PLATE made in New Zealand. The company up top says New Zealand Chellenaft

I know it's easy to get confused, it's a permanent condition for me :D

You made your other posts while I was trying to answer. Given what you said in the other posts, I am inclined to think that you have a reproduction

Well, it might be a sovereign. Best way to start out is to weigh the coin - you have that done at any jewelry shop. If the coin matches the specifications given on the link you posted - then it might be real. But it would require an in hand exam by an expert to say for sure. There are many counterfeits out there.

As for value - bullion content.

OK i will but im almost 100 percent sure it is real since it was dug up over 60 years ago

You might be right, but they started making fakes the same year the real ones were minted ;)
