Should be silver and non-magnetic, sounds like a fake. Needs a photo.

    It might be play money.

I'll try to post a photo, but please realize this is only 13mm diameter not the original size. all details are exact as compared to original. thanks. this is one fantastic site!!!!

The size alone suggests it's not a fake. Maybe a miniature, souvenir, token, or replica. Waiting for pictures.

    Hi Dave!

I'm hungarian and I've some informations for you! There is a website, where you can find some useful informations about these interesting coins. The link:
http://koronaportal.hu This website is an official hungarian website about the Austro-Hungarian corona/korona. If you've loaded the website, get down, and on the left side of the page there are other different links, like "Ritkaság Katalógus"/Rareness Catalouge/, "Fórum, infó"/Forum, info/, And the third one is the "További kategóriák"/Other Categories/. You need this one, so the "További kategóriák". Click on the 4th from the top, this is the "Miniatűr Érmék"/Miniature coins. Click on it! Get down again on the page, because on the top of the page there are different advertisements. So, get down, there you can see a big picture which shows all of the known types of this group of coins. Get down, and there you can see the datas connected to the 1 fillér, 2 fillér, 10 fillér, 20 fillér, 1 korona... ect.

If you have any other questions about hungarian coins or banknotes, please, send me a message and I'll try to answer them! :)

I hope I helped you! Have a nice day! :)

There are some theories about their role. Somebody say that these coins were used as a lucky-coin, a mascot-coin or something like that. Other say that they were used as an ingredient in connection with the hungarian card games.

Otherwise, if I'm not impolite, where are you from? And where have you found these coins? Do you have one or the whole set?

    Have a nice day!
