A new addition to my collection. Common type but I always liked the early portraits of her & I didnt have one in silver. Faustina Jr. (146 - 175 A.D.) AR Denarius O: FAUSTINAE AVG PII AVG FIL, draped bust right with head bare, hair waived and coiled on back of head, R:VENVS, Venus standing left holding apple in right and rudder in left, dolphin coiled around rudder. 18mm 3.4g RIC III Pius 517c, RSC II 266
Awesome SLQ, nicely toned. That being said, I prefer and greatly appreciate a Miss Liberty who is comfortble and confiden with their body image. So much so, she isn't afraid of showing some skin.......jk Seriously though nice T2. Looks super lustorous.
I have the same coin, but not quite as nice. I was surprised at how small they are when I got mine in the mail.
