Wondering what people have found in common pocket change lately. Post below the best or worst find in your change.
I find a lot of bicentennial quarters in the change i get when i go to the party store by my house. But i just pass them on as a common quarter (after looking them over ofcorse)
Yes, I look at every coin that passes through my hands. The best I've found was a Jefferson nickel with retained struck through copper shards.
got a 1998 wide AM about a month ago and bout 2 weeks ago got a 2001S rhode island state quarter proof, both pocket change... oh yea got a 64 dime few months ago also
Got a 1945 quarter back in change at a gas station one day. I knew there was silver in the handful of change just from the sound. Have found 2 1998 WAM lincoln cents too.
Oh ok. I still am unsure what is good to save and what to put back into circulation. Gotta start somewhere lol
It is. It didn't photograph well, so posting it here didn't go over too well. One of these days it's going to NGC.
Yes, I look at it but rarely find anything. The last old coin I got in change was a 1958 Lincoln a few months back.
my latest finds was about two months ago ........A 1909 VDB cent in VF and a 1940 nickel in super nice AU-55.
This was some years ago, but I once received in change--as a dime, in Maryland--a shilling of George V.
