My friend who was bartending tonight got a 1908 Indian head in change was in vg she's keeping it for her son (age 5) but I thought it was a cool discovery in change and worth sharing

It's exciting to find stuff like that in change. The last neat coin I received was a well worn 1919 merc, but I have found a few circulated proof quarters and a few '64's. Your friend's coin will mean more to her (and her son) than any coin that is purchased as such.

How I feel too and it might start another young coin collector I've often given common Indian heads buffalo nickels etc to kids that thought they were cool cause who knows?

That is very cool. You don't find many Indian heads out there anymore.
