    Im just going to sit and look at this coin in shock and awe as i marvel at it. Is this a war time coin does anyone know about that? I like the camo look to it!

    I guess i have been collecting error coin since before i ever knew what an error coin was!

    This coin is so cool under a loop . If you tilt it at an extreme angle all of the coloring goes away and it just looks like a normal cent and is perfectly smooth.

    Has anyone ever seen a similar cent with similar coloring?If so.......Let me know

    Ok I collect oddity coins. The only point you may have that has any validity is that I may be using the term error coin incorectly. Im using it as a general term that most people understand. This is a beautiful addity 1944 Licoln Cent The picture speaks LOUD and clear.

    I don't think I would lump "most people" in with you. If this is true, I could take a coin to a cow pasture, dip it in a patty, and "most people" would think it is an error coin. I give "most people" more credit than that. Oh, and I don't think "most people" would think that gunk and verdi gris make up a "beautiful oddity". There is nothing odd about it. Get a roll from the bank. More coppers than not will show signs of verdi gris.
