I'm not sure who it is exactly (Roman) but it is not gold :(. It is brass, bronze, or orichalcum. It is corroded and has been harshly cleaned. An positive ID of the bust is likely not possible.

I can not identify the coin but am rather sure it is brass not gold. It appears that it is either Roman or a cast fake of one. In that condition, it is hard to tell but I am made very suspicious by the crack that shows on the obverse but does not have a mate on the reverse. It even appears that the crack is sealed at the edge of the obverse which is pretty hard to do with a struck coin but easy with a cast pieced together.

I have to agree with the others, at best a overly cleaned, badly preserved orichalcum coin. These frequently are put into "uncleaned lots" with newbies wanting to believe its gold, and the sellers encouraging the to post such feedback. Gold does not tarnish, so how could it be in an uncleaned lot when it would always be identifiable as gold?
