    this coin has taken a ride in a commercial clothes dryer. Edge is showing zinc and is starting to curl over....

    Are you saying the heat from the dryer caused this damage?

    Ziggy would have to answer , but I surmise it's more the tumbling action in those large hoppers than the heat . Sort of like getting hit everywhere on the coin with 100s of tiny hammers , lol .
