I was totally unaware that your comments were the end all-be all for every single coin collector in the world. BTW OP, nice before/after. If I needed that one in a better grade, I would certainly pay more than 3 cents for it.
This shows there's no demand for a 1915 Lincoln with problems. Let me just put my foot in my mouth now.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1915-P-Lincoln-Cent-/190978071052?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2c772e1a0c Die crack!!! LOL
You wouldn't have any problems seeing at least 10 bucks for your coin on the bay. It's obvious 776 hasn't been in the market for a 15 P. BTW, good job on the conservation.
To too many members of this forum, the hobby is about money and money only (Of course the hobby is about money, but you know what I mean.) They like to disparage our beloved coins by saying "it is worth face/melt value" when nobody asked what it was worth. A coin that is loved is a coin that is loved, and you can't put a value on that.
Oh man, that's a REAL heartbreaker! Looks like someone slipped taking it out of a 2x2. ALWAYS pry staples AWAY from the coin. LOL
