That one is tricky. You can tell it is from a later die state, but it looks like some splits are present. I can't give you an answer but good luck. CONECA lists a '66 DDR, but there are no attributes listed. It just says, "Strong spread on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, QUARTER DOLLAR, and lower leaves and branches." It is also a CPG variety so that may help. It is #FS-25-1966-801 (026.3).
I'm fairly certain it's not 801 as mentioned above, it doesen't look like the pic in the CPG. I agree with rascal.
the first thing I thought of when I saw the R and B is that it looks similar to the spread on the 95 ddo
“1966 P quarter with a question“ I fully admit that I first clicked on this thread to see what kind of question this quarter might ask, a concept which I find questionable to begin with. Unquestionably, I now question whether the quarter really had a question to being with. This makes me question whether I have been duped or not. I should have known by the avatar.
