Hello I am just posting this thread because recently I have been extremely interested in buying small gold coins. I am wondering are there any other gold coins similar to the Indian fanam and Indonesian kupang, I already have a few of both and i am just wondering if there are any other similar in size and value from other countries. Thanks! Ivan. Diameter: 5mm-13mm Weight: 0.3g - 1 g ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Many of us might not be familiar with the specifications of the fanam and kupang. Would it be possible to share the approximate diameter, weight or fineness of each? If so, I would imagine you would have many more people respond to the thread.
Isle of man has 1/25 of an OZ. but these usually come with high premiums because they usually go into jewelry (rings and pendants). chinese panadas. how much do you want to spend ?
The thing is im not really interested in buying bullion im a lot more interested in coins that are pre 1960ish and that were not originally made to be sold for the gold value.
