Nice coin. Especially with the FBL!

 

Here's a 1950 NGC MS 65 I don't think I've posted before and a 1956 NGC MS 65 FBL I have posted before but just took new images of.

 

Here are a couple of 57 D's. Both PCGS MS 65 FBL.

1956 Franklin PCGS Proof 67 Cameo DDR FS-801 POP 2/2
PCGS made it a plate coin on their Coin Facts site.
This is the coin that I had to resend to PCGS because they got the variety wrong the first time.The first time I got it back in a FS-101 DDO holder.
I sent it out,the first time, in the beginning of November and still dont have it in hand yet.
I can understand how they mixed it up because according to Franklin Lovers and Wexler the 801 DDR is also a DDO (WDDO-007).So its a DDO AND a DDR.

Gems if you have both graded make sure to pay the extra fee for details

 

Slowly I'm working toward a complete collection of Franklins, the early 50s proofs are going to be more challenging -- $$ wise.

When I see great coins like this, I sometimes wish I collected regular coins.

It's struck on a nickel planchet. I always loved the nearly perfect centering.
