@Mountain Man Hasn't posted in a while. I hope all is well. Maybe just taking a break. Just say hello to the members.
The member posted his health status on 12 Nov. 22, and given the information shared, I would assume the recent absence is involved with the health status.
I'm still with you, but as others have mentioned, my health has taken up more of my time. Knowing one is going to die, with certainty, is an awakening experience. I try to look for silver linings in everything, and this news is allowing me to prepare, so I'm glad for that. I have been spending my time organizing my life and papers, to hopefully make it easier on those I leave behind, so don't frequent CoinTalk like I used to. Thank you to all of you that have posted and commented. It's nice to be noticed when one goes missing. I just read that Jim, Oldhoopster, has passed, and we will miss him very much. He had Stage 4 Colon cancer and had messaged me several times, offering his support of my stage 4 prostate cancer. I will try to stay in touch these next few months, but can't promise. Please, get those "old person" tests done. Colonoscopy, prostrate, etc. so something like this doesn't sneak up on you.
Nice to hear from you, @Mountain Man . My wife’s little sister passed away two and a half years ago at the age of 44 with colon cancer. We watched her go through those range of emotions that one goes through when faced with news like that and tried to be the best support that we could be for her. She left behind two daughters and one of those now lives with us, soon to be just nine years old. For me it was harder watching what her kids went through. Life has a way of throwing us all curve balls now and then and we do our best with what’s thrown at us. I wish you the best, my coin brother.
Very good to hear from you. Your knowledgeable input is missed. You have mentored many of us. For this we are grateful. Check in with us when ever you are up to it. You're in our prayers.
Prayers for you my friend. Thank you for letting us all know. I’ve missed you telling me, Pam Pam Pam. You take care and again prayers for you. Hugs from me and I’m sure from all of cointalk as well.
I am finding myself struggling more with both my vision (hard to focus) and mental confusion, which may be the cause for some of my more recent posts. LOL I guess the hardest part is not knowing what to expect next. Organ failures? More pain? No one seems to have the same progression, so it is hard to compare and know what lies in my immediate future. Thank you all for your good wishes.
I’m so sorry to know you are going through this but always remember that you are in my prayers daily.
@Mountain Man I haven’t said it yet but I’ll do a thread at the right time but I’m finally scheduled for knee surgery in April. Hallelujah!!
