That year it should be on the reverse, but, it could be a Philadelphia minted coin and therefore, no mint mark. Just like the good ole U.S.A.

Yes, but it says P not "no mint mark"

 

and yes, one should pay attention. The Medellin can be without mint mark.

 

I guess with a ( ), you get no P. Krause also shows no mintage for the 1941, so I guess it doesn't exist.

Who knows, we are talking Columbia.

1918 S U.S. Philippines 5 Centavos Mule. Most certainly an upgrade candidate when I finally find the right one price wise that isn't a details coin. But this one I got for a price that I was comfortable with considering condition so I'm very happy with it.

 

got these 2 this morning for 14.00 total for both. i already had the 2.5 escudo same type and a shilljng same type, so.i added these two to the others.

 

i was just thinking after posting that, my.very first foreign coin, the one that got me interested in collecting was my silver portugal 2 1/2 escudo. brings back fond memories.

just got this too. can anyone tell me if this is the tbn or nbn mint mark? book says turin or naples mint, bug i dont see the mint mark.

 

It is a N (the N just to the left of L . 2 BN is the Naples mint mark)

1908 Denmark 10 Kroner, King Frederik VIII who only ruled for 6 years (his father ruled for 43 years)

 

This is for my 15 year old grandson for xmas. Got the 1798, now need to find a 1698 and a 1898 coin to complete the 100,200,300 year set. Coin has been cleaned and well worn, but the chopmarks should add some interest. Plus it was priced right.

Stocking stuffer for my daughter, the Elephant lover. My wife asked me if I was getting coins for everyone this Christmas. Yeah, all except you, you get cash. So you can buy me a new coin. Why not? My wife loves me.
